Vintage Handmade Folk Art Pine Crate Side Table / Stool, Circa 1940s. Constructed from repurposed pine crate planks with a circular top surface and central square shelf. Each of the four legs has a soft s-curve, allowing the central shelf to be attached within the interior. The top underside retains portions of the original black stencil lettering, with a stamp that reads “N.Y.” still visible.
CONDITION: Excellent antique condition. Minimal surface wear, and natural surface patina. Natural fissures through the top surface layers, does not detract from the structural integrity or function. The lower shelf has one light area of water staining, as photographed.
