Vintage Folk Art Small-Scale Woman With Raised Axe, Circa 1950s. Carved from wood in three sections (figure, ax head and handle), the figure is captured mid-motion. Rendered with her hair swept into a bun, apron tidily tied around her waist, all of her strength frozen in time mid-air with an ax. Unsigned, Artist unknown.
