Vintage Etched Copper Flue Plate Portrait, Circa 1940s. The copper base was originally designed as chimney/stove flue cover plate, the artist reimagined this vernacular piece by applying an etched portrait of a cheerful bearded figure, dressed in a button up shirt and hat, with pipe in mouth. A metal tab was applied to the backside later in life for wall-mounting. Unsigned.
