Rare Vintage "Elixir Fixer" Glasses, Set of 8, Circa 1960s. A hard to find complete set of double old-fashioned glasses. Black, white and gold top-applied detailing. Each lists a humorous “Elixir” to heal a common “Ailment”. The glasses read: “Liars”, “Mother-In-Law”, “Income Tax”, “Love”, “Reducing”, “Youth”, “Neurosis”, and “Baldness”. Gold symbols including mortar & pestle and heart add for a whimsical play on the medicinal qualities of alcohol.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Very minimal wear to the gold applied details in a couple areas.
