Vintage Signed Oil on Board Cullasaja Falls Painting, Circa 1940s. Active brushstrokes create this waterfall scene in natural tones with pops of bright green. Painted from the perspective of looking down from top of the falls. The thick and textural brushstrokes give the illusion of moving water. The work retains a newspaper article on the reverse about Cullasaja Falls, located in western North Carolina. Framed in its original silver / gray wood frame. Signed “ESL” in the lower right corner.

Condition: Great vintage condition. One slight puncture hole barely visible and shown in the photo of the back of the piece.
