Vintage Shadowbox-Framed Seaside Mini Oil Paintings Diptych by Sandro Natullo, Circa 1950s. Each painting employs heavy impasto to illustrate groups of lounging beachgoers with the sea and sailboats in the background. Vibrant colors in each work are set against a cerulean blue velvet mat. An engraved brass plaque at the center of the piece reads “S. Natullo.” Each painting is also signed in the lower light. Complete with a heavy gilt frame and interior liners.
Italian Impressionist artist, Sandro Natullo was know for painting small scale life vignettes in a largely impressionist manner.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Each painting is in excellent condition with very minimal wear. The frame and velvet mat show light signs of wear with small areas of gilt loss as detailed in images.
