Vintage Oil on Canvas Tablescape Still Life Painting, Circa 1940s. Large-scale still life focused on a central table covered with various objects. The soft green fabric is draped across the table’s surface along with various fruits, bottles, a bowl and a teacup. The background incorporates line-work and larger swaths of color, showing an open door and what appears to be a window. Largely rendered in shades of green with hits of light orange, yellow and rust. Approaching the subject with more of a cubist flair, the artist may have also been inspired by the still life works of Cézanne. Illegibly signed in both the upper and lower right corners. Framed in a cedar floater frame.

Condition: Great vintage condition. Light surface wear, with small areas of abrasion as detailed in images. The wood floater frame shows light signs of wear with a couple small areas of paint residue.
