Vintage Graphic Black + White Op Art Painting on Paper by Jason Cohn, Circa 1980s. Geometric op art rendered in black paint on white paper. The artist plays with orientation by splitting the plane horizontally, alternating the graduated, stepped black line work with the natural tone of the paper, thus creating an optical illusion for the viewer. Matted and framed in a minimal silver metal frame. Unsigned but confirmed to be by artist Jason Cohn, circa 1980s, from previous estate.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition, light discoloration to the paper from original matting with light spots of white paint applied by artist (as pictured). Frame shows light signs of wear with areas of surface scratching.
