Vintage Greek Heavyweight Cotton Duster with Embroidery Details, Circa 1960s-70s. Slubby, deep navy heavyweight cotton/calico garment with a modern interpretation of Greek folk costume techniques. Employs traditional weaving to create graphic accents along the seams and hem of the coat in vibrant reds, blues, yellows and purple to contrast the midnight blue ground. Can be worn open as a duster or closed as a dress with the hidden snap placket down the center front. Unlined. Labeled, “Handwoven-Export Tzanacakis Athens-Greece.”
Condition: Excellent vintage condition, natural imperfections present from the handwoven nature of the material
