Antique Black Beaver Top Hat by Brooks Brothers, Circa Late 19th / Early 20th Century. Beautiful silky beaver fur with woven fabric binding and band. Interior leather collar and silk lining. Made in England. Leather collar features gold foil embossed logo and stamped “Made in England”. Interior reads “Made in England Expressly for Brooks Brothers Madison Avenue, Cor. Forty-Fourth Street, New York.” Original gold paper letters for owners initials “EWF”, still present in interior top of lining. Expertly crafted.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition considering its age. Light wear to fur at exterior top edge of hat. Otherwise, fur is completely intact and in excellent condition. Interior silk lining is perfect with only light spotting. Interior leather collar is lightly worn. Both logos are crisp and perfectly clear.
